A gem-set 'dearest' gold locket pendant c.1820, fashioned as a three colour gold lady's purse set with a diamond, emerald, amethyst, ruby, emerald. sapphire and topaz (to spell the word 'dearest') above a raised floral spray, glazed locket back, from a suspension loop formed as a gold gloved hand set with rubies. 5.2cm *For a similar example see Tait H.
