A Charles II chirioserie porringer and cover, chased around the cover and sides with birds and butterflies, amongst prickly leaved plants with flowers and berries, crested on the side and on the cover and scratched 'D' over 'IA' on the base, the cover surmounted by a detachable openwork bud finial, makers mark L.S(crowned) (see Jackson's revised pp135), London 1680, 5.25in (13.2cm)diameter, 17oz.
