A George III silver ewer, by John Scofield, London 1794, baluster form, part fluted decoration, with an engraved foliate garland and armorial, domed hinged cover with a ball finial, on a circular foot, height 28.5cm, approx. weight 23oz. The arms are those of Douglas impaling Hugh.
