An early 19th century French silver fish slice, maker's mark of F.I with two crossed bats within a lozenge, Paris 1819-38, the blade pierced and engraved with stylised grapevines and with a vacant cartouche, wooden baluster handle, the blade handle joint mounted with an emerging lobster, length 35.5cm.
