A late 18th century Dutch silver two handled basket, by Barend Van Mecklenburg, Amsterdam 1786, oval form, pierced wirework decoration, beaded borders with applied ribbon tied motifs, on four claw and ball feet, the centre crested, plus a Dutch silver pierced divider, marked with a tax mark, length handle to handle 15.5cm, approx. weight 4oz.
