A George II silver acorn nutmeg grater

A George II silver acorn nutmeg grater, maker's mark of David Field, London 1750-60, the swirl fluted screw-off cover opens to reveal the steel grater, length 3cm, approx. weight 0.4oz. A similar example of this grater by David Field was sold in these rooms on the 20th April 2005, as part of A Private Collection of Silver Nutmeg Graters, Part I, lot 19.
