A George III silver nutmeg grater, by Matthew Linwood, Birmingham 1810, plain vase form, the hinged cover with a ball finial, opens to reveal the hinged body, engraved with a crest, height 7cm, approx. weight 1.5oz. A similar example of this grater by Matthew Linwood sold in these rooms on the 20th April 2005, as part of A Private Collection of Silver Nutmeg Graters, Part I, lot 35.
