A William IV silver mounted mother-of-pearl snuff box,
by John Tongue, Birmingham 1831,
rectangular form, canted corners, the hinged cover engraved with a hunting scene of a huntsman and his hounds, the base engraved with a running fox, the sides with engine turned decoration and inscribed 'Richd Tookey', length 7.5cm.
