A George II silver chocolate pot,
by Pentecost Symonds, Exeter 1740,
tapering circular form, wooden scroll handle, faceted spout, the slightly domed cover with a unmarked pull-out knop finial, on a circular foot, engraved with a crest, height 21cm, approx. weight 20oz.
The crest is possibly that of Bushby.
