A George III silver seven-bar toast rack,
by Emes and Barnard, London 1812,
the wirework bars with ball finials central wire-work handle, on a rectangular base with a gadroon border, on four fluted bracket feet, crested, length 15.8cm, approx. weight 7.5oz.
The crest is probably that of Chafe.
