A Charles I/ Commonwealth Wessex area seal top spoon, with a large decorative seal or terminal, pricked 'W S' over 'Y' over '1667', struck once in the bowl with a circular anchor mark (see Jackson's Revised, pp 272), by an unascribed maker, Salisbury, 1640/50, 6.8in (17.2cm), 1.6oz.
