A small George IV box, with reeded sides and engine turned base, the cover set with an embossed plaque, depicting five figures playing chamber music* gilt interior by Edward Smith, Birmingham, 1827, 2.2in (5.5cm), 3.2oz. *the subject could be based on a painting by Philippe Mercier(1689-1760) showing Prince Frederick and his sisters making music, the prince being the cellist.
