A Victorian Scottish engraved castle top box, the cover depicting a view of Dryburgh Abbey and an owl in the foreground, flanked all over by engine turning to simulate tartan, gilt interior inscribed "to George Davidson from the members of the Royal Hoolit Club. to mark their sense of his services as their honorary secretary, Edinburgh, december 1854, 3.5in (8.2cm), 3.7oz.
