A rare George III wine label, of canted oblong form with a reeded border, incised "AURQUEBUSADE" * by John Douglas, London 1809 (traces of gilding). * Arquebusade: according to some sources a distilled water from a variety of aromatic plants like rosemary, millefoil, etc - sometimes a vulnerary for gunshot wounds.
