A French enamel snuff box
A French enamel snuff box,
c.1745, the shaped form decorated perhaps in the Fromery workshop, perhaps by Antoine Leschaudel, the lid with a couple dancing beneath a flowering branch to the music of a piper seated nearby, the sides and with a hunter, dogs and other motifs, all in raised gilt and jewelled green and pink, 7.3cm across.
