A St Cloud silver-mounted porcelain snuff box,
c.1740, modelled as a reclining shepherd, resting his head on his right hand, his crook and his dog lying on the ground beside him, the tall oval base decorated with sprays of Kakiemon flowers, with similar sprays painted to both sides of the flat base, 7.6cm across.
