A mid 19th century continental gold and enamelled snuff box, of bombe form with an applied floral scroll thumbpiece, the whole decorated in royal blue and white enamel with a pattern of amoeba-like cells struck only, with an incuse No "1713", probably Viennese c.1860, 3.3in (8.5cm) long, 3oz.
