A George II silver sugar caster,
by Samuel Wood, London 1751,
baluster form, the pull-off pierced cover with an acorn finial, on a raised circular foot, engraved with a crest, height 17.5cm, approx. weight 7.3oz.
The crest is that used by a number of families including: Beckwith, Ker, Ord, Wyle and Young.
