A George III provincial silver two-handled cup,
possibly by John Law, Sheffield 1797/98,
circular form, reeded scroll handles, embossed and chased decoration, with two shields, one engraved with initials, on a raised circular foot, height 15.3cm, approx. weight 11.5oz.
This cup is marked with the double duty mark, which was used from 15th July 1797 until the end of August 1798.
