rectangular form, the hinged cover with a raised view of the Cathedral, the interior with a silver-gilt pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, foliate scroll borders, the sides and base with engraved foliate scroll decoration, the base with an initialled cartouche, length 4.5cm, approx. weight 1.1oz.
