rectangular form, the hinged cover with a raised view of the Castle, the interior with a silver-gilt pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, foliate scroll borders, the sides and base with engine-turned decoration, the base with an inscribed cartouche, 'S. Haines to H. Gillett', length 4.5cm, approx. weight 1.2oz.
