rectangular form, the hinged cover with a windmill in the foreground and a lake scene behind with boats on the water, the interior with a pierced and engraved silver-gilt foliate scroll grille, scroll borders, the sides and base with engraved foliate scroll decoration, the base with a crested cartouche, length 3.5cm, approx. weight 0.4oz.
