A William IV silver nutmeg grater,

by Rawlings and Summers, London 1834,

oval tubular form, engine-turned decoration, hinged cover and side, the cover with a crest, length 6.5cm, approx. weight 1.4oz.

Provenance: Phillips, New Bond Street, June 1992, lot 82.

The crest is that used by a number of families including: Chetwood, Garrard, Lacy and Walsh.
