A George III Irish silver sugar bowl,

by John Sheils, Dublin circa 1770,

circular form, embossed with foliate decoration, punch-bead border, gilded bowl, on three shell capped hoof feet, engraved with a crest, plus a silver sugar bowl, in the Irish manner, circular form, embossed with animals, buildings and foliate scroll decoration, on three shell capped hoof feet, with London Assay Office marks for 1977, diameter 12.7cm, approx. total weight 12oz. (2)

The coronet is probably for Fitzgerald, Marquess of Kildare.
