A small collection of four 19th century silver vinaigrettes,
comprising: a George III one by William Ellerby, London 1813, rectangular form, the hinged cover engraved with intertwined trellis decoration, with matted panels, the gilded interior with a pierced and engraved flower and foliate grille, length 3.2cm, plus one by Hilliard and Thomason, Birmingham 1880, rectangular form, engraved foliate scroll decoration, length 2.8cm, plus one by Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1841, rectangular form, engraved foliate scroll decoration, length 3.1cm, and a small one by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1830, length 2.3cm, approx. total weight 1.7oz.
