A Victorian silver engraved 'castle-top' vinaigrette, St. Mary's Church Beverley,

by George Unite, Birmingham 1844,

shaped rectangular form, the hinged cover with a view of the church, foliate borders, inscribed 'St. Mary's Ch. Beverely', the underside with engraved foliate scroll decoration and with a vacant cartouche, the interior with a silver-gilt pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, length 4.1cm, approx. weight 0.6oz.

Provenance: A Private Collection.

Purchased from Steppes Hill Farm Antiques, Stockbury, Kent, 11 April 1978.
