A small collection of four early 19th century silver vinaigrettes,
including: one by Taylor and Perry, Birmingham 1844, rectangular form, engine-turned decoration, the hinged cover initialled, the interior with a pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille, length 3.5cm, plus one by John Bettridge, Birmingham 1818, rectangular form, foliate decoration, pierced foliate grille, length 3.5cm, one by Samuel Pemberton, Birmingham 1811, reeded rectangular form, pierced foliate grille, length 3.1cm, and one by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham 1922, reeded rectangular form, the silver-gilt grille pierced and engraved with a foliate rosette motif, length 2.7cm, approx. weight 2.1oz.
