A William IV novelty silver book vinaigrette,
by Taylor and Perry, Birmingham 1835,
rectangular form, engine-turned covers, reeded spine, inscribed 'Eliza', the interior with a pierced and engraved and pierced silver-gilt foliate scroll grille, length 3.4cm, plus another vinaigrette of book form, by the same maker, Birmingham 1834, the grille pierced with a flower head motif, length 2.6cm, plus a Victorian one of book form, by David Pettifer, Birmingham 1856, engine-turned decoration, with a ring attachment, length 3.3cm, approx. total weight 1.1oz.
