A Victorian novelty silver box,
by Thomas Smily, London 1884, (part-marked),
modelled as a monkey sitting on a tortoise, who is peering out from within his shell, the underside with a later unmarked hinged cover, with engraved decoration, length 4cm, approx. weight 1.4oz.
