rectangular form, with an oval hinged cover with a foliate capped screw-down lock, gilded interior, engraved with an armorial, length 7.3cm, approx. weight 4oz.
The armorial is that of Fyler or Philer of Heffleton, Dorset and Woodlands, Surrey.
