A 17th century provincial silver Slip-top spoon
A 17th century provincial silver Slip-top spoon,
marked twice with a crown mark, once with a six petal mark and a W, possibly East Anglian, circa 1640,
fig-shaped bowl, tapering faceted stem, the base of the handle with a later crest, length 18.5cm, approx. weight 1.8oz.
The crest is probably that of Buckley of Cheshire.
