An Indian presentation metalware freedom casket,

unmarked circa 1912,

rectangular form, the front with steam ships, local boats and a port scene, the reverse with a carriage procession, the ends with a steam train and factory, the pull-off cover with a steam boat at sea, with a pull-off cover, on a shaped rectangular foot, applied with standing models of Britannia and a lion, (one figure missing, on four bracket feet, the interior velvet lined, inscribed 'Presented to The Right Honourable Lord Inchcape of Strathnaver, GC.M.G. K.C.S.I. K.C.I.E by The Bombay Mercantile Committee of Calcutta, 1st March 1912,' length 45cm.
