An Edwardian Regimental silver menu card holder, 79th Carnatic Infantry,

modelled as the regimental badge, on a weighted rectangular base, length 7cm.

In 1903, the 19th Madras Native Infantry was redesignated the 79th Carnatic Infantry. In 1922, the Regiment became the 3rd Bn, 3rd Madras Regiment. It disbanded in 1923.
