A Regimental metalware menu card holder, The 28th Madras Native Infantry,

modelled as the regimental badge, mounted on a wooden base, with a plaque, inscribed 'Presented to Lieut A.W. Nicholls by the Officers of the 88th Carnatic Infantry on its Demobilization in December 1921', height 11cm.

In 1903, the 28th Madras native Infantry was redesignated the 88th Carnatic Infantry. The Regiment disbanded in 1921.
