circular disc form, engraved with the regimental badge, on circular bases, in a fitted case, diameter of base 3.1cm, approx. weight 3.4oz. (4)

Raised in 1759, and famous for its part in the Charge of the Light Brigade in the Crimea. In 1922, The Regiment amalgamated with the 21st Lancers to form the 17th/21st Lancers.
