A late-Victorian Scottish silver hanging vesta holder,
by John Maitland Talbot, Edinburgh 1894,
comprising: two shaped oval containers, with a pierced hole, the back plate of one with a steel vesta striker, on hook supports with a twisted hanging hook mount, possibly for a church, length 15.5cm, approx. weight 6.8oz.
