By Paul Storr: A George IV soup tureen of lobed oval outline on a shaped and domed pedestal foot, with cast fruiting vine tendril handles, each terminating in a Bacchus mask, the body decorated with repousse fruit, flowers and scrolls on a matt ground below a cast border of flowerheads, engraved on one side with a coat of arms and the motto `Fidus et Audax', on the other side with two crests and underneath with the scratchweight `O2-165-10', (lacking cover) London 1829, 116oz, 18.75in (47.6cm) wide overall.
