The `Cowley Portable Alter' , a carved oak travelling alter folding into a locking box, containing a small chalice and paten, London 1896,a small wafer box, Birmingham 1900, a continental reliquary with English import marks for 1901 and other trappings for administering to the sick and dying, complete with key, the box 18in (46cm) wide.
