A George II snuff mull in the form of an oval tube with reeded borders , and an upper and lower frieze of rocaille chasing, the cover similarly chased, with a border of engraved pellets and a concealled hinge, the base initialled FI, maker's mark only, "HL?" unascribed, possibly Scottish 1750-60, 2.5in (6.2cm) high, 2oz.
