A George II salver, of shaped circular outline on scroll feet, with a shell and gadroon border and an engraved coat of arms, the reverse patched, and engraved with the scratchweight "40-4", the salver by Edward Wakelin, London 1757, the patch hallmarked for London 1788, by Benjamin Mountique, 13in (33cm) diameter, 40oz.
