A curious mounted hardwood mallet

A curious mounted hardwood mallet, with a baluster handle, decorated at the end with applied, winged cherub masks, the main section apparently by Omar Ramsden, London 1905, the tang by W.B. Reynolds and of similar date (c.1905), but the whole perhaps made from parts of two or more other objects, 7.7in (19.5cm) high.
