World War I, Princess Mary's Christmas Gift Box, containing original card, and letter (1975) from its recipient, an officer with the 2nd Bn, The Duke of Edinburgh's Regiment, stating, "not only in the trenches on Christmas Day but took part in the controversial cease fire during the afternoon".
