A George III suite of one large and two smaller covered vases, with upswept, scroll handles, decorated with applied bead borders, festoons of foliage and chased foliage, the lower bodies with an applied calyx of stiff leaves, the covers with bud finials, crested, the bodies with an engraved coat of arms on one side and an applied oval medallion centred by the crest, the larger example inscribed underneath with the scratchweight "46-5", by John Parker & Edward Wakelin, London 1772, the larger one 7.7in (19.5cm) high, the smaller two 7.15in (18cm) high, 44.75oz.
