A large William IV silver salver, by John Houle, London 1836, circular form, foliate scroll border, the centre with foliate scroll decoration and engraved with a central armorial, lacking feet, diameter 63.5cm, approx. weight 152oz. The arms are those of Ormerod impaling Hardcastle.
