A George III silver swing-handled basket, by William Plummer, London 1774, shaped oval form, wavy edge border, pierced decoration, beaded borders, pierced swing handle, on a raised oval foot, the centre engraved with an armorial, length 34.5cm, approx. weight 22oz. The arms are those of Causton of Essex quartering Plum of Essex.
