A George III silver two-handled tea urn, by Robert Sharp, London 1792, urn form, part-fluted decoration, leaf capped reeded loop handles, raised pull off cover, on a square base on four bracket feet, with a later wooden tap, engraved with an armorial and presentation inscription 'To William Kerkewich Esq. from the Corporation of the ROYAL EXCHANGE ASSURANCE as a testimony of the benefit which has been received from the Zeal, Capacity and attention which he has given to their business thro'a long series of years. Presented Midsr 1792", height 56cm, approx. weight 116oz.
