by David Gray, Dumfries, circa 1830,

crescent form, engraved 'D & G.H.S, To Mrs Gordon of Halleaths for wine 40 years old made from currants 1830', length 4.4cm, approx. weight 0.2oz.

One would assume that D & G.H.S stands for Dumfries and Galloway Horticultural Society.
