A large collected service of fiddle thread and shell pattern flatware

A large collected service of fiddle thread and shell pattern flatware, contained in a fitted oak bound trunk and assembled in four obvious sections: i) 20 tablespoons, 7 dessert spoons, 4 sauce ladles, a soup ladle, a fish slice and 4 large basting spoons all by Paul Storr, London 1811/12, and 21 table forks and 6 dessert forks, London 1811-1812 (probably by the same maker but with worn marks). ii) 13 tablespoons, 7 table forks (union shell feel), 5 dessert spoons, 4 dessert forks and 2 sauce ladles, all by William Eaton, London 1844. iii) 15 tablespoons, 10 tableforks, 2 dessert spoons and 2 dessert forks (all with union shell feel) all by Thomas Barker, London 1816. iv) Miscellaneous non marking:- a large quantity of plated table knives, side knives, a small quantity of plates, fish knives and forks and the following: a large stilton scoop by Welay and W. Fearn, London 1815, a set of 12 Victorian rattail teaspoons, 4 assorted single struck forks, three Victorian butter knives and a set of 8 hourglass pattern dessert spoons by Paul Storr, London 1820, 386oz weighable silver. The vast majority of the above, crested to the maker.
