Queen Anne, an oval silver portrait cliche, by John Roettier, commemorating her Coronation, 23rd April, 1702, showing her bust right, hair tied behind with lovelocks on her shoulder, wearing a pearl necklace and earring, her mantle with embroidered edge, ANNA. DEI. GRATIA. MAG: BRIT: FRA: ET. HIB: REGINA. INAUGVRAT. XX111. AP. MDCCII., 95 x 78mm, in a glazed turned mahogany frame, this probably 18th century. Deeply toned, good very fine and extremely rare.
