An early 19th century gold and enamelled sealing wax case, decorated with bright-cutting and four painted panels each depicting a figure against a light powder blue ground (some restoration). Struck with a foliate makers mark (thrice) and French duty marks, 4.3in, (11cm) high, probably Swiss c.1800.
